At the October Third Tuesday the focus was on web tools that businesses and people find useful. We had a great discussion and I tried to capture the suggestions. Here is list of the tools discussed and recommended by someone in the group:

- Zendesk, Marval and OsTicket – customer support ticket management
- bpmonline – account and contact management – CRM and communications
- Spiceworks – help for IT pros – answers, education, product reviews, help desk
- Invision - a digital product design platform, digital product development (apps, wireframes etc.)
- MailChimp - email newsletters, remarketing connections to other apps
- Wix – easy to use platform for website creation
- AdRoll – e-commerce focused for remarketing, cross channel marketing
- Mockaroo – mock data to test your app
- Hootsuite - integration, managing and scheduling social media posts
- Quickbooks and Wave - accounting and invoicing
- Insightly CRM and sales force automation
- Google Drive and Slack for team collaboration
- Skype for Business and Zoom for online meetings
- Eventbrite and Universe - event management, ticket sales
- Stripe for online payments and Square accepting payments anywhere now allows for booking appointments
- Twitter Thread Reader – in app assistance to view all threaded tweets
- Unroll an email unsubscription service that allows you to unsubscribe easily
- Pocket – web service to manage articles you want to read later, organized and synced for offline reading.
I know there are hundreds of tools out there and more are being developed and launched every day. Using the right tool can make a huge difference in productivity, collaboration and business management; the great thing about these ones is the cost to check them out - free. Let us know if you use a tool that you would recommend to others!
